Enrollment Procedure
Steps in entering the Barnyard School of Mansfield:
- Parent and staff meet to discuss the policies, fees, regulations, steps in admission, programs available, etc.
- First Day Child Visit: Parent and child visit the school and stay approximately one hour. Staff members show the various areas to the child with parent accompanying. The child may explore and interact with other children.
- Second Day Visit: Parent and child again come and if possible remain for a longer period of time. After about one hour, the parent may leave the premisis for a while, if the child appears to be comfortable. The parent will inform the child before leaving and will explain that he/she will return soon.
- Third Day Visit: The child may begin a regular schedule.
